Introducing Simon Tapscott
|
I started my career at global media company Future and led the advertising teams across its video games portfolio (including official Playstation and Xbox titles) with annual billings in excess of £10m. I went on to launch award-winning content marketing agency FuturePlus working with brands including Sky, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, NVIDIA and BT.
Since then, I've launched several successful startups (most recently Circus Journal and nearfield) and work as a consultant for clients including DawBell, Hearst, YUMPU, Jamie Cullum, Sophie Dahl, Wanderlust and IDEAT. In 2016 I helped Bath City FC raise £350k to become a community-owned football club. |

"Simon’s expert knowledge and experience of the UK publishing market was essential to the launch of YUMPU News. Already well-established in German speaking territories, we needed someone with great contacts and sales ability to help us introduce the platform to the UK. We could not have launched YUMPU News in the UK without Simon!"
